As a tourist attraction serving food both to eat in and take-away,  they also asked us to investigate a change of direction in their food packaging.

When you live with things it’s easy to take things for granted.

Can’t see the wood for the trees sometimes as they say!

But once you pick up the metaphorical shovel to start digging deeper into what’s been developed and what’s in development

It’s amazing what you find, the realisation is nothing short of extraordinary and often ground breaking.

Long story short:

The route we took utilised a range of environmental packaging materials, all made from plants and vegetable oils.

Even the ink was made from vegetation!

All these elements were food grade and compostable.

This evolutionary material development is largely down to

environmental empathy; supply and demand; ingenuity and determination.

What has today become a reality is in fact constantly evolving even as you’re reading this.
