Introducing the Isle of Skye Seaweed Company.

A young cosmetics company using wild and sustainably sourced seaweed, harvested by hand, locally on the Isle of Skye.

The Isle of Skye Seaweed Company came to us for branding and packaging advice following attendance at an Impact30 event, run by the Highlands & Islands Enterprise.

Ben had an idea for his branding but it needed a little more oomph to make it more competitive and attractive for the cosmetics market.

So we set to work!

Launched in September 2017, with their first product, luxury bath bombs, they then brought out their lip balm just in time for winter.

Constantly innovating and developing , adding to their product line, they’ve now launched their hand and body balm.

We are delighted to be working with the Isle of Skye Seaweed Company on their cosmetics packaging.

Their product range is ever-growing in popularity.

It’s incredibly exciting to see a young company making such a success in this difficult market.

And long may it continue.

Having by now got a real feel for the whole ethos behind the company and what they were trying to achieve we delight in being part of this development;

We designed and developed a tamper-resistant wrap for the lip balms.

Similarly, we designed a tamper-resistant, cost effective wrap for the hand and body balm tin.

With designs approved we worked closely with our label producers over the exact sizes and material required.

The finished results are high gloss, water resistant, tamper-proof labels which fit the products like a glove.

We look forward to working with the Isle of Skye Seaweed Co on their next product, which is of course a closely guarded secret at the moment, so watch this space!
