Great piece of collaborative working here between ourselves as the design team and Prima (Yorkshire) Limited as the card production company.
Prima were asked to design the actual dynamics of the carton to house the glass soap dispensers and we were asked to then design and develop a complementary stylish look to graphically finish off the housing unit and give it shelf appeal to its target audience.
Lovely story behind the brand too … step up Amy Alexander
Kaerlig (Danish for “caring”) was born out of a therapeutic hobby of soap making after Amy’s diagnosis of triple negative breast cancer. An operation, chemotherapy, sickness and radiotherapy followed. Ravaged by treatment, soap making became a bit of a release for Amy. But the hobby turned into something else, and following completion of a Diploma in Organic skin-care, Kaerlig emerged and so begins this remarkable journey.
The soaps contain Jojoba, Castor and Coconut oils with extra glycerine for a skin-friendly boost. All completely natural, no parabens, no alcohol, no colouring and the same PH as water (7). No plastic here either, just beautiful reusable glass bottles which are refillable.
Available in Harvey Nichols stores, so make sure it’s on your Christmas list for someone special or just as a little indulgence all of your own.
