As a company we have worked with many businesses over the years including SMEs and Blue Chip companies but nothing makes us feel warmer inside than seeing small start-ups progress from having nothing other than an idea of a product that they want to try and sell, to getting their brand out there, noticed and their products on the shelf.
Take Alice’s Pantry, a brand new start up company from Lancashire who makes lovely gooey gluten free, vegan friendly, vegetarian friendly cake bars.
The client came to us with a product, they had an idea of how they wanted to package it but didn’t know where to start. Only having a small run of products to begin with we soon found that a lot of the larger production houses were unable to handle such small quantities so we had to widen our search.
Sourcing the packaging that was required for such a gooey product, to make sure it wasn’t all stuck to the packaging once you opened it wasn’t easy but, we did it. Next was the outer case, as the bars were only small, standard packaging was too big, so we turned to our trusted card manufacturer partners and worked with them to come up with the ideal size that would take the bar and its inner wrap and a bespoke carton was created especially for Alice’s Pantry.
Now that the contents were covered, no pun intended, we turned our attention to the actual branding of the product and its packaging. The brief was to keep it looking rustic and home-made but at the same time give it stand out on the shelf, making it attractive to customers and keeping pace with the competition.
The resulting packaging was very well received by the client and will be rolled out across the product range once the new recipes have been perfected.
For now you will have to indulge your sweet tooth with Banoffe Pie and Chocolate Brownie. And don’t worry if you are on a diet, there’s only goodness in these bars so you can be naughty, without having a guilty conscience.
We have an eclectic mix of clients and we are passionate about all of them and their products and particularly enjoy seeing them go from strength to strength.
With an enviable portfolio of production contacts and partners, including one of the UK’s largest print houses, we know that together we can exceed our clients expectations, using our combined knowledge and experience, guiding our clients on how to better promote their brands and products to a wider audience, advising on the best form of packaging, the most cost effective and environmentally friendly.
