Caithness Biscuits are a deliciously first class biscuit manufacturer, based in Caithness.
Aims & Objectives:
Caithness Biscuits came to us for a brand review and on the back of our advice they asked us to redesign their visual brand identity; assist in their brand awareness and revamp their biscuit range to give them a stronger presence on the supermarket shelf.
Our clients wished their brand to demonstrate their proud Scottish heritage. Taking a subtle Scottish Saltaire, alongside strong and balanced traditional typography, we used complementary blue and silver and added in the iconic Scottish thistle to produce an elegant brand that would sit equally shoulder to shoulder amongst its competitors on the supermarket shelves. Following the visual brand redevelopment we were asked to look at lifting the brand further by looking at something that would work with their existing flow wrap packaging. We designed a full suite of labels in warm colours sympathetic to the flavours of the products. We also designed a point of sale tower to hold all the flavours and add extra awareness on the sales floor.
